Custom designed led light fixture and self-build prototype. The concept is that light is contained. The result is a light fixture consisting of extruded aluminum profiles filled with LED lights and finished with a translucent cover. Special attention has been paid to discard the conventional solution of finishing the profiles with additional caps. Instead, light is seamlessly continuing on all edges of the fixture. The suspension has been given a deliberate industrial look to further strengthen the minimal appearance.

The fixture is designed to create a sandwich of light contained in a finish appropriate to the application. Therefor the side panels can be provided by any kind of material, preferably any seamless material like aluminum as shown or textile, stainless steel of solid surface.
