The forested plot, located in the middle of the Zuiderpark in The Hague, immediately feels like you are walking through the woods. In the distance you can immediately see the new clubhouse that is positioned against the riding arena.
The new design is partly kept open by the south-facing terrace and opened up to keep contact with the riding arena. When you walk up the plot you therefor know immediately if your friends are already riding.
By using the typological shape of an closed horse arena the elegant lines of the design are accentuated. Upon entering the clubhouse you walk directly past the bar and you have an overview of the building, the spacious terrace and the riding arena. The mobile furniture ensures that the space can be used multifunctional. For example, the clubhouse can simply be used for the riding school, but parties, meetings or presentations can also be held without parties disturbing each other.
