EXTENSION VILLA WASSENAAR

Beautifully located next to a forest lies this villa in Wassenaar. We designed an extension consisting primarily of glass sliding doors with a minimal and sleek design. To bind the extension to the existing building the canopies are similar to the existing detailing. This results in a nice balance between maximal transparency, modern interior and the traditional and well detailed exterior of the existing villa.

The sliding doors continue around the corner and can alle be opened which results in maximal openness between the terrace and the kitchen dining room. In this way several configurations can be created for instance while cooking the entire corner can be opened almost as if cooking outside. During dining all doors at the dining table can be opened up resulting in the dining room almost feeling outside.
